Louis J. Rosner, MD Profferer Rosner is the president of Cannamed Corporation, headquartered in Thousand Oaks, California. Dr Rosner was born in Shreveport, Louisiana. He attended college at Centenary College in Shreveport, Tulane University in New Orleans and Texas Christian University in Fort Worth . He graduated with an M.D. degree from Baylor University College of medicine in Houston. He served an internship at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago. He did a neurology residency at the New York Neurological Institute of Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. Dr Rosner joined the faculty at UCLA to run the Neurology Clinic and to be director of the multiple sclerosis clinic. He did research in the treatment of MS, Parkinson disease, Epilepsy, Tri-geminal Neuralgia and migraine headaches. He wrote a book on MS entitled MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS “New hope and practical advice for people with MS and their families published by Simon and Schuster and called “ The best book on MS for patients and their families by the New England Journal Of Medicine. He also ran a private practice in Neurology in Beverly Hills for 26 years. Dr. Rosner’s hobby was the study of history, especially history of the Roman Empire. He traveled all around the Mediterranean area collecting ancient Roman coins. He was so good at it that he was only cheated twice, once in Tunisia and once in Lebanon. Dr Rosner was disabled by polio at the age of 21 but managed to go through medical school, private practice and university service in spite of the troubles caused by his disease.
