The law firm of Brayton Purcell is pleased to be a sponsor of the Marin Human Race, the largest collaborative fundraiser in Marin in support of Marin County charities.

(PRWEB) May 9, 2008 -- The law firm of Brayton Purcell is pleased to be a sponsor of the Marin Human Race, the largest collaborative fundraiser in Marin in support of Marin County charities. This fun event features a 5K run where with 4,000 of your friends and neighbors you can run, walk, or roll on a mostly flat, looping course. In the spirit of raising money for Marin non-profits, schools, and charitable originations, Brayton Purcell employees joining in the race have chosen a specific organization to run for, such as the Marin AIDS Project, Novato Human Needs, Quality Care for Kids, Casa Allegra and Catholic Charities (Catholic Youth Organization).
                     
The event will be held outdoors at the Marin Center Fairgrounds and Lagoon. It is the perfect place for the Community Fair which is a part of the Marin Human Race event. The Fair features more than 100 booths and lots of fun activities for all ages. There will be kids' races with free registration, a Pancake Breakfast, a giant inflatable play land, live music and entertainment, free refreshments, costume contests, prizes, and much more! Also, The Marin Human Race has decided to go green this year. Instead of plastic bottles, there will be recyclable cups and plates. Also, there will be organic food, and a hybrid vehicles exhibit.

The exciting event begins Saturday at 7:00 a.m. for registration. The Marin Human Race will start at 8:30 a.m. and at 9:30 a.m. the kids' races begin. At 10:00 a.m. there is an awards ceremony and the Community Fair is from 7:30-11:30 a.m. Please be sure to stop by the Brayton Purcell booth that day and get a free nerf football!
